Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:10–19 that true contentment isn’t found in circumstances—it’s found in Christ. Whether in seasons of plenty or in times of need, we can rely on His strength to sustain us. Generosity and partnership in the gospel matter too—Paul celebrates how the Philippians shared in his needs, and promises that “my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” The Christian life isn’t about having it all—it’s about trusting the One who provides it all. So where do you need to lean on Christ’s strength today? Where do you need to trust His provision?
Thanks for joining us as we continue our summer journey through Philippians!
In Philippians 3:14–21, Paul challenges us to keep pressing toward the goal—the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Joy doesn’t come from looking back at the past, but from moving forward with eyes fixed on Him. It’s not about being perfect, but about choosing the right direction.
This week, we’re reminded that joy grows in the pursuit. It takes focus to let go of distractions, release what’s behind us, and live as citizens of heaven—shaped not by earthly things but by the hope of what’s to come.
Joy in the pursuit means trusting that Jesus is worth chasing, even when life feels tough. It means anchoring our hope in Him and encouraging each other to keep running the race that truly matters.
📖 Scripture Reading
Philippians 3:11–21 — Take some time this week to sit with this passage and ask how God is inviting you to root your joy more deeply in Him.
💬 Reflect & Respond
– Where have I lost focus on pursuing Jesus?
– Is there something in my past I need to release so I can move forward?
– Who can I walk alongside—or invite to walk with me—as we follow Christ together?
